On October 18, 2019, the Wynford FFA seniors, Wynford FFA officer team, and Wynford Family & Consumer Sciences classes hosted Harvest Day for the kindergarten students at Wynford Elementary. The FFA members organized stations including straw olympics, pumpkin relays, tile slide, tree and pumpkin crafts, soil lab, petting zoo, bingo, field memories, and candy corn activities. There were over 75 kindergarten students in attendance and approximately 25 high school students that helped make this event happen. Our community helped by donating straw, pumpkins, animals for the petting zoo, tile, and farm equipment. This is the 11th year for this event, and once again, it was successful in bringing knowledge and enjoyment to educate our youth on agriculture.
