What a great opportunity to select Sophomore Allison Lust as Wynford’s Female Athlete of the Month. Allison led the way for the girls cross country team in their post season success. Allison finished runner up at the N10 championship meet and broke the girls 5k school record at the Regionals meet, placing only four spots off of state qualifying. In addition to being the frontrunner for the Royals, she also provided leadership as a team captain. Her contributions were central to the first Regionals appearance for the girls since 2013 and a 12th place finish out of 21 teams there. As Athlete of the Month, Allison has earned a gift certificate from Pisanello’s Pizza and a T-shirt sponsored by Matthew Chevrolet. Congratulations Allison and please continue putting in the mileage to prepare you for this upcoming track season.
