What a great opportunity to select Sophomore Emma Hensel as Wynford’s Female Athlete of the Month.  As an individual, Emma earned Honorable-Mention this season in the Northern 10.  Running fourth for her team, Emma was a key component for the Lady Royals securing their qualification to Regionals. “She has been a leader in practices and meets, setting an example with her hard work and focus,” Coach Stuckey commented. Emma’s preseason mileage prepared her for a strong finish to her  sophomore season. As Athlete of the Month, Emma has earned a gift  certificate from Pisanello’s Pizza and  a T-shirt sponsored by  Matthews Chevrolet.   Congratulations Emma and please   keep up the hard work the rest  of your career.
