Wynford residents who have a child that will be 5 years old by or on August 1, 2023, will need to attend kindergarten screening. The Wynford Local School District's policy states that there will be no admittance for students entering kindergarten if their birthday occurs after August 1, 2023. Kindergarten screening will take place on August 9, 2023, but registration will be taken from April 17-May 12, 2023.
To register your student for kindergarten:

Then, email Miss Julie Stahl, elementary secretary, at stahl.julie@wynfordroyals.org with your child's birth certificate, proof of residency, and enrollment form which can be accessed at: https://www.wynfordroyals.org/o/wynford/browse/148629.

Only when those steps have been taken, will the secretary schedule you for a screening time on August 9, 2023. Only one parent is to attend kindergarten screening per child. Kindergarten screening will be held in the Wynford Elementary School. Appointments will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue in half an hour increments until 2:30 p.m. Please complete FinalForms, email the documents needed, and a screening time will be scheduled for you.
Out-of-district residents are encouraged to attend their home district’s screening. Completing an open enrollment form, FinalForms, and the other forms needed is appreciated but does not guarantee a screening appointment.
Requirements for kindergarten are as follows:
Immunizations: 5 doses - DPT; 4 doses - polio; 2 doses - MMR; 3 doses hepatitis B; and 2 doses - chickenpox. All required immunizations must be on file with our nurse before the first day of school.
Government Issued Birth Certificate (not a mother's certificate or hospital certificate)
