The last day of school for students at the Wynford Local Schools is Thursday, May 22, 2025. On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, and Thursday, May 22, 2025, all middle school and high school students (Grades 6-11) will have a 2-hour early release and will be dismissed from school at 12:30 p.m. to go home. All elementary students (Grade PK-5) will be released at their normal time. However, elementary students who ride the bus may arrive home up to 15 minutes earlier on both Wednesday, May 21, 2025, and Thursday, May 22, 2025, as the buses will already have returned from the middle and high school routes and will be waiting at the school for the elementary students.
Pioneer Students
Even though there is a 2-hour early release for Wynford Middle School and Wynford High School students on May 21 and May 22, 2025, the elementary will be operating on their normal schedule. Therefore, bussing for Pioneer students on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, and Thursday, May 22, 2025, will be normal. Starting on Friday, May 23, 2025, through Thursday, May 29, 2025, the Pioneer bus will only be transporting students between Wynford and Pioneer. The bus will leave Wynford High School at 7:20 a.m., and the bus will return students to Wynford High School at 3:05 p.m. Buses will not be picking up or dropping off Pioneer students at their homes on Friday, May 23, 2025, through Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Exams
For Wynford High School students who have exams on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, and Thursday, May 22, 2025, the exam schedule is listed below. On both days, all middle school and high school students will have a 2-hour early release and will be dismissed from school at 12:30 p.m. If your Wynford High School student doesn't have an exam, they are excused from school. Wynford Middle School students do not have exams but still need to report to school.
