Happy Retirement

As the 2025-2026 school year draws nearer, we wanted to honor, celebrate, and recognize our two WHS retirees.  Kelly Wheeler and Eric Holman retired at the end of the school year - both will be missed very much by all of us in the Wynford Community.

After an incredible 28-year career in the district, we celebrate the retirement of a truly remarkable educator, Mrs. Kelly Wheeler. Her unwavering commitment to her students, colleagues, and the entire school community has left a lasting legacy that will not soon be forgotten.

Mrs. Wheeler was more than just a teacher—she was a mentor, leader, and friend. Her dynamic presence in the classroom inspired countless students to strive for excellence, while her tireless work ethic and passion for education set the standard for those around her. Always driven to give her best, she created an engaging and supportive learning environment where every student felt valued.

Outside the classroom, she built strong, lasting relationships with her co-workers. Her positivity, collaborative spirit, and genuine care for others made her a beloved member of the school family. Whether serving on a committee, lending a listening ear, or cheering on her colleagues, Kelly made a difference every single day.

As she embarks on this well-deserved next chapter, we thank her for nearly three decades of service and dedication. Your impact will be felt for generations to come.

Congratulations on your retirement, Mrs. Wheeler! You will be greatly missed, please don’t be a stranger to Wynford.

After 33 years in education—including the last four as a valued member of the Wynford team—Eric Holman is retiring. During his time as an educator, athletic director, and administrator, Eric consistently brought a positive attitude, steady leadership, and strong support for both students and staff.

At Wynford, Eric quickly became known for his personable approach and his ability to build meaningful relationships with students, colleagues, and community members. Whether in the school building or at athletic events, he was a consistent, supportive presence who made a lasting impact in just a few short years.

His leadership helped strengthen school culture, and his dedication to student-athletes and staff was appreciated by many. Eric’s presence at Wynford will be missed, both on and off the field.

Congratulations on your retirement, Mr. Holman! Thank you for your service and best of luck in the next chapter of life.
