What a great opportunity to select Senior Varsity Baseball member Cody Taylor as Wynford's Male Athlete of the month. In addition to being the baseball team captain, Cody currently leads the league in batting with a .537 average and .674 on base percentage. Cody is second in the league with 32 runs scored; also, Cody has contributed 13 stolen bases to his team. Cody has been a solid defender and has not recorded an error in center field this season. Cody plays the game smart and with class; he represents a true Wynford Royal on the field. As Athlete of the Month, Cody has earned a T-shirt sponsored by Matthews Chevrolet and Pisanello’s Pizza. Congratulations Cody and please keep up the hard work the rest of the season.
