Congratulations to Owen Whitmeyer , Aleece Filliater, and Jordyn Alspach! These Sophomore Wynford Art students from Mr. Lillo's Art Two classes created work selected to be displayed at First Federal Bank of Bucyrus. Their paintings were shown during the Month of May at the South Sandusky Street office. The students in Mr. Lillo’s year long Art Two class were challenged to create their own original visual compositions and simultaneously learn to follow the progression of sequential processes that professional illustrators and designers utilize to create an image. Art Two students worked to meet the Ohio Visual Art State Standard for Accelerated students: “Explain artistic processes from idea conception to completion of a work of art using descriptive and arts-specific terminology.” The creation process included brainstorming, the creation of thumbnail sketches, a compositional line drawing, a value sketch, a color comp, and a finished painting or design. . Kudos to these outstanding Wynford students!
