What a great opportunity to select Sophomore Varsity Track runner Gwen Ruth as Wynford's Female Athlete of the month. Gwen Ruth is a sophomore on the track team. Gwen was one of the team's two mile runners this year. She had her season best at the Margaretta meet where she finished with a time of 14:55. This was an improvement of 1 minute 5 seconds. Gwen never gave up and always willingly took on the two mile race. She worked hard at every practice and could be known as the team's cheerleader. Great work Gwen. As Athlete of the Month, Gwen has earned a T-shirt sponsored by Matthews Chevrolet and Pisanello’s Pizza. Congratulations Gwen and please keep up the hard work the rest of your career.
