What a great day to be a Lady Royal! The Wynford Royals Volleyball team showed tremendous character with a win versus Shelby today. After dropping the first two sets, Wynford volleyball rallied from 2-0 down to beat Shelby (21-25, 22-25, 30-28, 25-22, 15-11) Lainey Holman had 20 kills and 16 digs to lead the way to victory. Averi McMillan added 11 kills and 22 assists while matching a team high 16 digs.

The Wynford Lady Royals lost to Buckeye Central 3-1 (14-25, 11-25, 27-25, 16-25). Avery and Lyndie both had 8 kills, Lainey had 11 kills Avery had 14 assists and Maddie Johnson had 15 assists Rylee 11 digs, Reese 10 digs, Mia 9 digs. Keep up the hard work; it will pay off in the near future.
The Lady Royals Cross Country team also broke the ice this year in Upper’s opener. The Lady Royals placed 8 of 14. Allison Lust placed 26th in 22:06 and Brianna Hensel placed 35th in 22:26. Our 4th-7th runners competed in their first high school cross country meet today.
Wynford High School Boys Cross Country kicked off the 2019 campaign with a 9 of 18 in Upper Sandusky’s Icebreaker opener. Kaden Dunford finished 33rd in 19:10 and Matthew Schiefer 44th in 19:37.
Elementary drop-off/pickup is in front of the building. For pickup, don't enter lot before 2:35. Students will be released at north end of building after bus riders. Please stay in your car until you see your child. Cars won't leave until buses have gone. Keep safety in mind!

Wynford (223) girls golf team prevails over Buckeye Central (282). Top scorers for the Lady Royals were Caity Schiefer 54, Jordyn Alspach 55, Gabby Johnson 57 and Kassidy Stanford 57. The Lady Royals are positioning themselves for a shot at the N10 title. Keep up the team play ladies.
Wynford Lady Royals volleyball sweep the Crestline Bulldogs 3-0 in a great team effort. Congratulations Lady Royals on their first win of the season, in addition, congratulations to Coach Trusty on her first career varsity win. Keep up the hard work ladies. The JV won 2-0.

Any 5th-6th graders interested in volleyball, contact Lynsey Trusty. All paperwork will be filled out on the first day. All students should be dropped off in the most northern elementary parking lot; the students should use the sidewalk to walk around the north side of the building and enter the building at the playground entrance by the gym.
