Fall! Fun! Fest! 🍁 Wynford Elementary School students participated in their first school wide fall festival with the help of several community partners in order to celebrate the change of seasons, learn about the world around us, and enjoy some pioneer living activities. We are grateful to have had so many volunteers share their time and talents to help us learn about harvest time, candle making and apple cider, local farm animals and products, what lives in our woods and lots more. Sixth-grade students have begun their final year of DARE with Deputy Martin, learning how their choices impact their minds and bodies. These lessons tie in with sixth-grade life science, particularly homeostasis. Thank you, Deputy Martin for the informative and engaging DARE sessions!
